Your assignment is to prepare a presentation about any real volcano and its eruption. You may complete the project on the volcano of your choice.

No more than 2 groups may sign up for the same volcano.

Extra creativity point will be offered to student who choose a

 unique and uncommon volcano

You should choose your volcano and method of presentation as soon as possible and tell Mrs. Hunter.

Objectives:

1.

Students will be creative, choose own presentation, choose own volcano

2.

Student will learn about the type of volcano and its method of formation

3.

Students will learn about the details of the volcano’s most recent eruption including length and damage.

Your Presentation can be in the format of a (n):

Written report- 3 pages, 12 pt. Font, double spaced

Poster with pictures and all the facts

Computer presentation (Power Point or similar) - 10 slide min.

Video tape with you as a TV reporter broadcasting the eruption

Audio tape with you as a Radio reporter broadcasting the eruption

Oral presentation to the class (3-5 min)

Painting, drawing or model (clay, paper mache)

Comic strip, Song, Skit, Other as long as teacher approved.

Project must be PERFECT

GRADING= DAY 1= 110%, DAY 2= 90%, 3= 75%, 4= 60%
