In addition, consideration should be given to courses that support knowledge needed to teach in elementary schools. For example, US History is part of the curriculum in elementary schools, so preference should be given to taking history courses related to US History. Students must take courses from the following areas: BI, FN, G, PH, ASTR, GS At least one class should include a lab. ED 200 & 201 Students earning their AAOT should include these classes listed above into their AAOT programs. Students should complete 99 quarter hours of transfer credits at LCC to ensure that, when added to the credits they will complete at Pacific, they will have the 124 semester credits required for graduation. Only courses with a “C-” or higher will be considered for transfer credit. At least 124 semester hours (186 quarter hours) are required for graduation from Pacific. Thirty of the last 40 semester hours must be taken at Pacific University. Credit will not be given for experiential learning, military service, life experience, vocational, career/college exploration types of courses. Quarter credits transfer at two-thirds credit, i.e., 99 quarter hours = 66 semester credits.
