Campus Tours Three distinct tours will be offered at the conclusion of the committee meetings on Thursday. All three tours will depart from various spots in the Memorial Student Center. Tour One: Jarvis Hall Science Wing and Labs Meet at the East entrance on the first floor of the Memorial Student Center, near the stair case Jarvis Hall Science Wing is the newest academic building on campus and houses cutting edge laboratories and classrooms for science, technology, engineering and mathematics classes (including a green house, "clean room" and a cadaver lab) complemented by spacious study areas. In addition, the Math Teaching and Learning Center is located in the Science Wing. Tour Two: Furlong Art Gallery and Applied Arts Labs Meet at the South entrance on the second floor of the Memorial Student Center, near the Ballrooms The Applied Arts building is home to all things art. The Furlong Gallery exhibits artists from all over the world. The current exhibition is the NOW & THEN: 25 Years of the Micheels Student Artists in Residence. Art laboratories are located on all three floors of the Applied Arts building. Art students exhibit their work in a gallery on the second floor. The art displayed throughout the building is truly a testament to the talent found in UW-Stout's School of Art and Design. A lecture hall on the second floor can seat large audiences for special speakers and doubles as a movie theatre for Blue Devil Productions. Applied Arts is also home to our bands and vocal groups. Tour Three: Heritage Hall Labs Meet at the Northwest entrance on the first floor of the Memorial Student Center, near the bookstore Heritage Hall is home to education, health and human sciences. Hotel, Restaurant & Tourism and Dietetics students serve the campus and public in our Corner III Cafe and our Rendezvous room (a fine dining campus restaurant). The Niche is a boutique managed by Retail Merchandising and Management students, who buy, price, advertise and sell the merchandise. A food-testing laboratory allows commercial testing of foods and other products by our Dietetics and Food Systems and Technology students. Heritage Hall is also home to one of our two Early Childhood Education labs and the College of Management’s Gaming Lab.
