The Training and Palcement , Vidya Pratishthan’s College of Engineering
organized a one day Industrial visit to Persistent Systems Ltd. (India) Hinjewadi Pune
9th of March 2013 for T.E Computer & IT engineering students.
Visit was organized with the prior permission and guidance of Honorable
Principal Dr. S.B. Deosarkar. It was supported by Respected HOD Prof. G. J. Chhajed
and HOD Prof. S.A.Takale along with Department T&P Co-ordinators teaching staff
members Prof. M. B. Rangdal and Prof. S.S. Kare and
T &P staff Mr. Sevanand
Pawar . Total 130 T.E students and 4 staff visited the Company .
The details of Journey are as follows:1. We started traveling from Baramati at Morning 7.30 a.m. 9th March 2013.
2. We reached to Hinjewadi Pune at morning 10.45 a.m. 9th March 2013.
3. Then they started their sessions on the Morning 11.00 a.m. of the same day.
4. After the recess they delivered seminar and their Recruitment Policy .
5. On 9th March evening 7.00 p.m. we were back to VP Campus.
The one day visit was organized with prior permission of Persistent Systems (India)
Hinjewadi, Pune and confirmed on 1st March . The students got benefited in terms of
the technical details provided by the company on an important part of Recruitment
Policy of Company.
They conducted for about 2 hour and 30 min seminar session which covered the
following details:The presentation session was conducted by:

3) Employees of Persistent who are pass out of the participating colleges.(including Neeraja
Karandikar (B.E. Comp. Engg.(2012) passout)

Then they Conducted Quiz Competition to have interactaction with students in
auditorium. Few tips & policy of recruitment also shared with students and answered
student daughts regarding recruitment. We are very proud to share that our student &
also worked as Staff Member, Ms. Niraja Karandikar was addressing the auditorium of
company.
Finally they have given presentation about infrastructure of company in India &
outside the India and facility they provide to Company employees.
The students of T.E. Computer Engineering and I.T. and all the four staff members
have enjoyed the technical Endeavour at the company a lot. The company persons also
appreciated our students after the question answer sessions.
Students were well mannered and disciplined throughout the Tour and no injury or
anything bad happened during the industrial tour.
All the Staff members and Students are highly thankful to you for providing such an
opportunity for the visit.

Educational visit to Persistent Systems Ltd (India) hinjewadi Pune. The
guiding staff both college staff as well as site staff was very supportive to all students.
We hope that this visit will help us in our future practical life and bring a positive
change in our thinking and practical behavior regarding Education and specially
Engineering.
