Age: 16
Story: Cody has a charming personality and is very artistic. He does well in school and
is diligent in completing his homework and other tasks in a timely manner. Cody has
developed several independent living skills that help him succeed in his daily activities. He takes pride in being
successful in this area. Cody responds well to structure and routine so an active family will be a great fit for
him. His favorite Sunday includes watching the Denver Broncos play football and eating enchiladas. Cody
plans to attend college and become a paramedic so he can help others. He does attend therapy which will
need to continue with support from his new family.

Age: 12
Story: Zachery is known to be a loving, caring young man and everyone agrees he has a
terrific sense of humor! He enjoys riding his bike and is an advanced Taekwondo student.
Zachery does well in school but consistent supportive parenting will be a great benefit to his
continued success. Zachery's caring side is apparent because he enjoys helping to do chores and is always
offering to help do more of everything. He needs a forever family that can provide a safe, stable and loving
home where he can be the youngest child. Zachery has other sibling’s and he would like to be able to maintain
contact with them once he is adopted.

Age: Marleena 13; Corey 11
Story: Meet Marleena and her brother Corey. Marleena is very athletic and a thrill
seeker. She enjoys riding horses and does well caring for them. Her favorite subjects in
school are PE, Art and Science and her favorite food is spaghetti. Corey has a
charming personality and enjoys interacting with people and telling jokes. He is very energetic and will work
hard on tasks he enjoys. Corey enjoys crafts and his favorite subject in school is science. Corey enjoys
helping care for horses and dogs. Marleena and Corey would do well with an active two-parent family who is
supportive and patient but firm with rules and boundaries. Marleena prefers to be the oldest child in the home.
They have an older brother they would like to remain in contact with.

Story: Let’s play dress up! Kristal enjoys doing activities that inspire her creativity including
dress up, dancing and coloring. Kristal is ready to be a part of a family that will understand
and work with her special needs. Kristal enjoys spending time with others and is outgoing.
Kristal has an Individualized Education Plan to assist in meeting her educational needs. She
also receives additional services to assist her with daily activities. It is recommended that Kristal’s adoptive
family be a two-parent family that is caring, patient and willing to provide structure and consistency. The family
must have flexibility in their day-to-day schedules to care for Kristal’s needs and provide appropriate
supervision.

Age: 11
Story: Meet Alexis, a vibrant young lady who is outgoing, imaginative, fun to be around,
and a self-described tomboy. She enjoys going to the movies, listening to pop music and
classic rock, dancing, singing, reading fiction and fantasy, attending church, playing with
animals, video games, drawing, and sports. She would like a dad who enjoys sports but a mom who can help
her with girl topics as she grows into a young lady. Alexis would enjoy a family that likes to stay busy by
participating in and attending sporting events, riding horses, playing outside together, going camping, and
traveling. She will do best in a two-parent home as the youngest child of a sister(s).
