Gene Takle, Bill Gutowski and Ray Arritt are contributors to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, the group that is sharing this year's Nobel Peace Prize with Al Gore. Takle, Gutowski and Arritt are contributing authors to the IPCC's 2001 and 2007 climate change assessments, according to ISU. The professors have worked together on climate studies for 15 years. They are also part of international group of scientists collaborating on the North American Regional Climate Change Assessment Program, according to an ISU news release.
