Add symbols of many beliefs to chapel

Iowa State University professor Warren Blumenfeld is making a hypocritical
mockery of himself and harming the university he works for in the process ("ISU
Professor: Remove Cross From Chapel," Aug. 3). His stand against the cross in
the ISU Memorial Union seems a bit fishy since he doesn't mention that the Star
of David and the menorah in the chapel should have to go as well. Of course, he
wouldn't since he is Jewish.
A tolerant person would focus on trying to get ISU to add a symbol of his own
belief system to the chapel rather than trying to get rid of other symbols (read
intolerant).
