Ames school leader headed to Kentucky
AMES — Ronald Werner-Wilson, president of the Ames Community School
District board of directors, announced Tuesday that he is leaving Ames to
become chairman of the family studies department at the University of Kentucky.
Werner-Wilson will be succeeded as board president by Gail Johnston, the
current vice president.
Werner-Wilson is an associate professor at Iowa State University and
director of the university's marriage and family clinic.
