Kerry Speaks At Iowa State
Massachusetts Senator John Kerry spoke at Iowa State University to kick off
political action week. The Democrat says new disclosures about how President
Bush handled the war in Iraq have reshaped mid-term election campaigns.
Kerry referred to a new intelligence report that offers a more pessimistic view of
the war than given by Bush and the new book by journalist Bob Woodward that
says Bush misled the country about the war. Kerry says Americans ought to be
outraged.
He was in Ames campaigning for Secretary of State candidate Michael Mauro.
