Des Moines Register 09-17-06 ISU Extension names Holz-Clause to interim position Michael Ouart, Iowa State University Extension's associate vice president, has been named vice provost for university extension and director of cooperative extension at the University of Missouri-Columbia. Mary Holz-Clause, manager of Iowa State Extension's value-added agriculture program and director of the Agricultural Marketing Resource Center, has been appointed interim associate vice president for ISU Extension and interim associate director of Iowa Cooperative Extension. Both positions take effect on Dec. 1. Holz-Clause is expected to hold the interim position for a year, said Jack Payne, vice president for ISU Extension and Outreach. Ouart has been Extension associate vice president since 2003. Holz-Clause has managed ISU Extension's Value Added Agriculture program since 1996 and became director of the Agricultural Marketing Resource Center in 2001. She also runs a farming business in Grand Junction with her husband.
