Tate To Start For Hawkeyes
IOWA CITY, Iowa -- University of Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz said senior
quarterback Drew Tate will start Saturday against Iowa State University. The
coach made the announcement at Friday morning's Johnson County I-Club
breakfast in Iowa City.
Tate missed last week's game at Syracuse University with an abdominal strain.
Tate was medically cleared earlier this week. Ferentz said as long as he looked
healthy in practice, he'd play.

Sixteenth-ranked Iowa and Iowa State are both 2-0. Kickoff at Kinnick Stadium is
11 a.m.
