Staff writer There are four finalists for the Oak Grove city administrator job. The candidates are Anne Hurlburt, Loren Lodge, Edward Treska and Lynda Woulfe. Hurlburt has been the economic development/housing and redevelopment authority executive director for the city of Plymouth since 1993. She has also worked in a number of planning positions for the Metropolitan Council and the city of Cottage Grove. Hurlburt has a bachelor of science degree from the Iowa State University, Ames. Since 2004, Lodge has served as the Glidden, Iowa, city administrator. He has previously been the administrator for the Village of Savoy, Ill., and Mitchelville, Iowa, and served as the research and budget analyst for Des Moines, Iowa. Lodge has a master’s degree in public administration from Drake University, Des Moines, Iowa, and a bachelor of science degree from Iowa State University, Ames. Treska, the Grand Rapids city administrator, has had experience working in Anoka County. From 1997-2000, he worked in various capacities for the county, including property records and taxation division manager. The final candidate is Woulfe, who is the Pine City administrator. Woulfe worked for the League of Minnesota Cities, from 1981 to 1995 in various jobs, including loss control assistant and executive assistant to the executive director. She has a bachelor of science degree in public administration from Metropolitan State University, St. Paul. The council will interview the candidates July 8.
