Translate into Spanish.
It was a wonderful idea to go and stay with my aunt and uncle in Valencia last summer. I would
never have believed it as I have only been learning Spanish for one year, but I had a fantastic
time.
My cousins, Rafael and Mónica, were very kind to me. We went out together nearly every day
and I met their friends. One Sunday we had a party on a nearby beach. We organised everything
ourselves, prepared the food and bought drinks. After eating we talked then went for a swim in the
sea. We had a marvellous time.
My favourite day was when we visited an old castle. It took us an hour to get there but it was worth
it because we were able to spend a day living as people did 300 years ago. We were given the
correct clothes to wear and ate typical food of the time. Fortunately I didn't have to sleep there
because it was so dark inside!
I have improved my Spanish and made new friends. I will definitely visit my family again next year.
