MAP WORKS ASLS Initiatives Budget Model Review Charge: Explore the possibility of a different institutional budget model that more equitably allocates resources, and: Provides better transparency Provides incentives to units that spend funds judiciously Continues to allow funding of strategic priorities ASLS Initiatives Comprehensive Training Program Led by Health & Safety Executive Director, Jim Uhlir Goal: To produce a comprehensive training program for things like Clery Reporting EO-54 Training Safety Training ASLS Initiatives Pick One ! www.pickone.uwstout.edu We are asking students to Pick One campus engagement Why? Increase students’ sense of belonging at Stout (community) Increase students’ active campus involvement (engagement) Increase students who stay at Stout (retention) ASLS Initiatives MapWorks Student Retention Initiative – Starting 3rd Year! What is MapWorks? A set of 4 surveys sent to first year students that allows students to provide feedback and is a monitoring and assessment tool for the student’s support team How does MapWorks assist? Improves interventions resulting in specific, timely and reinforced messages Improves communication between campus resources ASLS Initiatives Has MapWorks made a difference? Increased personal connections Increased information sharing More students are staying into their second year. What can I do?
