The schools within or very close to Kansas City have shown a drop in population. These include Center, Hickman Mills, Kansas City and Raytown. Others close to the city showed a small growth including Belton, Grandview, Fort Osage and North Kansas City. The suburban schools Blue Springs, Independence, Lee’s Summit, and Park Hill had significant growth in population.
