This Transfer Major Map is based on the MCC
Associate of Arts degree in place during the
2013-2014 catalog year.
All students are responsible for completing UMKC
General Education Core requirements. The specific
courses that should be completed are included in the
map below and listed in the General Education Overview
section of this guide.
Your path to graduation may vary slightly based on factors such as college credit you earned while in high school, transfer work from other
institutions of higher learning and placement in Mathematics. You are responsible for checking prerequisites to any courses. Critical
courses and minimum recommended grades provide feedback regarding major fit and help indicate likelihood of successful completion of

Important Information
All undergraduate courses in the Bloch School must be taken for a letter grade, except for internship courses (496) which are
taken credit/no credit.
Those transferring from other institutions must have 2.5 cumulative and University of Missouri (UM) GPAs.
Courses graded D- and above will be transferrable to UMKC.
No more than 15 semester hours can be dropped from the calculation of a student's GPA by repeating course work.
