The UW - Stout International Student Scholarship is based on GPA and your participation in global involvements : Volunteer, community service and/or

What is Cultural Sharing?
Cultural sharing is when you share your culture with other students, faculty, staff, and members of the community in activities that are both academically and culturally beneficial. This can be done in classrooms, events, and/or panel discussion.

To choose to act in recognition of a need, with an attitude of social responsibility and without concern for monetary profit, going beyond one’s basic obligation.

How to find Global Involvement
The Office of International Education will send out opportunities throughout the academic year to students.

Students can seek their own global involvement, but has to receive the approval from an International Student
Advisor. Ways students can look for opportunities include: contacting UW-Stout Involvement and Leadership
Center and local business, working with student organizations, and/or look on the World Wide Web.
Examples of global involvement
Students can participate in UW-Stout international week in November, panel discussion, helping the local food pantry, sharing culture with a class, and/or donating your time to help an event or organization.
