Courses
Entrepreneurship: Theory & Practice
This course introduces you to the key concepts linked to entrepreneurship. It deals
with topics like the nature of entrepreneurial thinking, business models and how to
fund and grow start-ups, the importance of the start-up team, developing a good
network, finding and learning from your customers. In addition, it challenges you to
create or discover an entrepreneurial opportunity. You then evaluate it, develop a
plan to validate your business idea, and prepare to attract investors to back your
start-up.
Introduction to Corporate Entrepreneurship
Being entrepreneurial within a company, that’s what this course is about. Large companies tend to focus on running their existing business, become less innovative and
inflexible. They can lose sight of the need to innovate, adapt and be entrepreneurial.
This course helps you to understand the role and importance of an entrepreneurial
mindset in larger corporations.
Creative Entrepreneurship
In this course you will study entrepreneurship in the context of those industries
where creativity is a key element in their value proposition to the public, such as the
gaming, film or design industries. You will discuss the opportunities and risks from
globalization and the development of the internet and how these changes can lead to
new business models and new types of business.
Skills training
The minor courses contain web-based and practical skills training sessions,
such as:
• Entrepreneurial Business Planning: Theory and Practice
• Presentation Skills
