Long-Term Programs for
instrumentation, controls
and electrical systems
Siemens Energy understands the
competitive pressures of today’s energy
market. These pressures are forcing
power generation companies to make
significant changes to their operations
and maintenance models relative to their
power plant’s instrumentation, controls
and electrical systems. These models
must be proactive as well as reactive,
cost-effective and efficient in resolving
issues while giving the plant a
competitive edge.
Siemens Long-Term Programs (LTPs) are
competitive bundlings of services
specifically tailored to meet your plant’s
budget and maintenance requirements.
Available program features are 24-hour
technical support, priority response and
accurate solutions for your plant’s critical
needs, cyber security and NERC CIP
compliance assistance, as well as
discounts on parts, repairs and much
more. Our commitment to quality and
customer satisfaction is established to
give you peace of mind. Your designated
LTP project lead will work together with
you to create a customized service
strategy that can potentially improve your
plant’s availability and reliability.
As your control system’s OEM and
the only I&C provider that constructs
power plants, Siemens has leveraged its
real-world knowledge and practical
operations experience to provide worldclass service for your plant’s I&C needs.

configuration and operating
environment, are available as well.
System administration and diagnostic
services for your controls system can be
accomplished remotely. The technical
experts at Siemens I&C Hotline can

replacement services of the identified
controls system components delivered
with the original purchase order. Parts
maintained in inventory will be ready for

Software version update
Siemens keeps your control system up-todate by providing software updates as
they are made available within the
specific installed version level. These
updates, such as bug fixes and patches,
help ensure your controls system
operates securely and effectively.
Software version upgrade (SPPA-T3000)
Siemens will provide released software
version upgrades for the SPPA-T3000
distributed controls system as they are
made available within the LTP year. Such
an approach helps secure the reliability
and compatibility of the system
components for future extensions and
helps ensure the long-term
maintainability of your plant.
Cyber security services (SPPA-T3000)
Our fourth generation controls system,
SPPA-T3000, can assist with your
NERC-CIP compliance program. Windows
OS, SPPA-T3000 and anti-virus updates
can be remotely installed via the
SPPA-T3000 terminal server. On-site
