2. [2.5pt] A person has 3 times as many dimes as quarters. If the total face value of these
coins is $2.20, how many of each type of coin must this person have?
3. [2.5pt]A convenience store sells 29 sodas one summer afternoon. Suppose that the prices
for small, medium, and large soda are $1, $1.25, $1.40, respectively, and that the total
sales were $37.25. If they sold three times as many large sodas as they did small sodas,
how many large sodas did the store sell that afternoon?
4. [2.5pt] Mark is printing 6000 copies of a document using two printers. During the process,
first printer gets a paper jam and prints only half as many copies as second printer. Write
a system of equations you could use to determine the number of copies each printer
produces.
