Monday 9/15 Paper proposal (typed or handwritten), at least four sentences describing the chosen topic, due at or before the start of the class. (8 points) Friday 10/17 Outline of paper that contains most or all the ideas that will appear in the final paper, is due at or before the start of class. (Typed) (15 points) Friday 10/24 Two typed copies of the rough draft of the term paper are due at or before the start of class. It must be at least 1500 words long and typed (approximately 6 pages or more if double spaced, graphs and pictures should be in an appendix and do not count for the length of the paper).The grade will be based on content. (20 points) Monday 10/27 Each enrolled student will get one term paper of another student for editing. Editors should follow the guidelines on the Student Editor Worksheet. Friday 10/31 Editorial corrections are due from students. (10 points) Friday 12/05 A hard copy of the final paper is due at or before the beginning of the class. It must be at least 2000 words long and typed (approximately 8 pages if double spaced, figures tables and graphs are not counted as the volume and should be contained in an appendix).
