Responsibilities and authorities listed below are delegated to Forest Supervisors. Where
indicated, they may be redelegated to District Rangers when adequate training, staffing, and
skills are available to carry out the responsibilities in accordance with the parent text.

standards, and guidelines. Approves decision documents for
rangeland projects.
* District Rangers schedule and conduct rangeland analysis and
planning on priority allotments, are familiar with and follow
approved methods, give administrative guidance and leadership in the
development and application of environmental assessments and
allotment management plans, and are responsible for assuring public
understanding and participation in the process.
