Roads Used For Disabled Hunter Access. Forest Development Roads with motorized use restrictions in effect may be suitable for motorized use under local Forest Access Programs for Disabled Hunters. If such a program exists on your Forest, require all qualified users to comply with State traffic laws and hunting regulations and Federal Regulations as directed in R1 Supplement to FSM 2352.2. A permit or letter of authorization shall be issued and shall include identification of the hunter and companion, number of the State hunting license, identification of the vehicle, the specific road(s) the person is permitted to use with specific days and times, and any additional permit conditions necessary for the protection and management of the National Forests. See FSM 7731.16. Forests and Districts may develop and use locally produced forms to facilitate preparing the necessary authorizations.
