Hydrogen Economy
The next Discussion Forum on Hydrogen Economy will be held on
Friday 9 November 2007 at 15h00 at the Sustainability Institute at Lynedoch on the
R310, Baden Powel Drive. Dr Boni Mehlomakulu, Group Executive Department of
Science and Technology & Prof Nico Louw, retired Professor Chemical Engineering,
will introduce the topic where after an open discussion will follow on the question of
the Hydrogen Economy. Dr Mehlomakulu will give a talk on the government’s strategy
to promote the creation of a hydrogen economy, and Prof Louw will provide input on
the status of cutting edge research in South Africa.
All academic staff and students, representatives from the public and
private sectors as well as the general public are welcome to attend.
There will be a small reception afterwards.
