Course Description:
This co-education course focuses on the development of a healthy lifestyle and participation in a
variety of enjoyable physical activities that have the potential to engage students’ interest throughout
their lives. This course provides instruction in a variety of optional individual and small group activity
units that the students select. Examples of some activities that will be offered include international
sports, ultimate frisbee, archery, golf, canoeing, weight training and track and field. Students will also
study the components of healthy relationships, reproductive health, mental health, personal safety
and fitness.
