Why did you choose Monash
and has it been a positive
experience?
I chose Monash because it
is a world leader and has a
considerable reputation in my
area of interest. It has been a
very positive experience in the
academic field.
What do you like about
Melbourne/Victoria?
Describe your academic
experience at Monash?
My academic experience has been
very challenging, but rewarding at
the same time. Standards are high
and you’re required to put a lot of
effort into your studies, but you’re
provided with plenty of resources
to do so. In the end I believe you
get what you give.
Describe your social
experience at Monash?
The wide range of clubs and
societies in Monash made it easy
for me to find other people with
common interests, and develop
good friendships. I have noticed
that Monash has a strong
commitment to enabling students
not only to achieve their best
academic performance, but also
to be involved and excel in other
areas beyond their studies.

Why do you think studying
in Australia is beneficial to
your studies/career?
Australia is a country with worldclass universities and with generally
high academic and professional
standards. I describe studying
here an “academic boost”.
What do you hope to do
after you graduate? How will
your study abroad
experience help you achieve
that?
I’m not 100% sure as to which path
to follow after graduating, but
whatever it is, having lived in a very
different university and cultural
environment opens your mind and
gives you insights that you just
can’t get from any other
experience.

Melbourne is an excellent city in
various aspects, from cultural
diversity to the great availability of
cultural attractions and public open
spaces. Being a bicycle enthusiast,
I can’t imagine a better place to be.
