Project Approach a.
Budget control. The CxA typically does not have any control over the project budget nor cost control. Was this left in this RFQ from theGC/ A/E – D/B RFQ by mistake since it is requesting the CxA to administer the “Ways and Means” of the project?

Again, these are items for the GC and A/E of the design/build team is responsible for.

LEED-NC version 3.0, which we believe this project would be registered under, requires that you use ASHRAE 90.1 – 2007 and not - 1989 standard efficiency levels. Is this a typo in the RFQ?

Who will develop the Owner’s Project Requirements (OPR)? Do we have a schedule for when the OPR will be available.
As the RFP stated, the commissioning agent will assist the Owner in developing the OPR.
4.
Do we have a design narrative for the anticipated HVAC systems to be employed on this project?
We are developing options for the HVAC system now. Ground source heat pump, and direct/indirect evaporative cooling. The building will likely include a high efficiency condensing boiler
5.
Will there be any “renewable energy systems” on this project?
A rooftop photovoltaic array is likely. That array may be combined with a solar wall air intake.
