Human Resources Employee Relations – Senior Analyst Position Major/Essential Functions Proactively develop, implement, and maintain employee relations practices, policies, and programs that support a high performance campus culture by establishing clear expectations, providing feedback, and encouraging productive behavior. Interpret and explain human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations. Confer with management to develop or implement personnel policies or procedures. Provide positive feedback and solutions to the talent support staff and collaborate with the Section Manager and Associate Managing Director. Provide front line employee relations support to campus units. Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting issues, and helping resolve work-related concerns. Coach individuals to help them understand and overcome personal, social, or behavioral problems affecting their job performance or professional relationships in the workplace. Stay up-to-date on all federal, state, and university-related laws, regulations, policies and procedures Occasional Duties Develop and deliver dynamic management training as it relates to personnel policy and law, performance management, and talent support. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in related field, three (3) years related experience; OR a combination of related education and/or experience to equal seven years Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Management, or business related area plus three years’ experience related to the assigned area. Professional in Human Resources Certification /SHRM-CP Knowledge of human behavior and performance; individual differences in ability, personality, and interests; learning and motivation. Ability to develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintain them over time. Negotiation -Bringing others together and trying to reconcile differences.
