Scope of Considerations
 solidify and enhance the critical juncture between the library
and the university curriculum as a whole
 will foster a climate at the campus level to make information
literacy part of the entire curriculum
 lead and coordinate the planning, implementation and
evaluation of a campus-wide information literacy program;
 be an advocate for information literacy and library user
education, both within and beyond the library;
 design and/or strengthen the infrastructures (organizational,
physical, and policy) that support information literacy
initiatives;
 build and strengthen collaborative partnerships beyond the
Library;
 nurture the professional development of librarians as
educators and serve as a resource person for library faculty
and staff in this area
