RECESS BOARD OF REGENTS MEETING IN OPEN SESSION (Approximately 12 noon)
Board members will recess for lunch at approximately 12 noon and join a tour of the newly
constructed addition to the Wright Music Building. A quorum is expected to attend but no action will
be taken.
RECONVENE BOARD OF REGENTS MEETING IN OPEN SESSION
(Approximately 2:00 p.m.)
EXECUTIVE SESSION
At approximately 2:00 p.m. or immediately following the prior meeting, the board will move to
executive session for consideration of the following items:
Deliberations Regarding the Deployment, or Specific Occasions for Implementation, of Security
Personnel or Devices. (Texas Government Code, Section 551.076)
• Update from chief information officer
Deliberations Regarding the Purchase, Exchange, Lease, Sale or Value of Real Property. (Texas

Consideration of Individual Personnel Matters Relating to Appointment, Employment,
Evaluation, Assignment, Duties, Discipline, or Dismissal of an Officer or Employee, including
but not limited to Dr. Jeff Gergley, football coaches, dean of the Nelson Rusche College of
Business, director of audit services, vice presidents and the president (Texas Government Code,
Section 551.074)
Consultation with Attorney Regarding Legal Advice or Pending and/or Contemplated Litigation
or Settlement Offers, including but not limited to legal issues relating to employee benefits, debt
and debt financing, and ongoing audits and audit investigations, HIPAA, reported complaints,
procedure on investigations and employee discipline, Sackos v. NCAA, et al., and JoAnn Fields
and Rose Trotty v. Stephen F. Austin State University (Texas Government Code, Section
551.071)
Estimated adjournment: 5:00 p.m. The board will reconvene in open session and recess for
the evening with no further action expected.
