method of valuation used to determine that valuation - the desktop market
valuations of Sites 1 and 3 respectively have been determined at R12 million
(total extent), and R13 365 000 (total extent) respectively by means of the
market data approach of direct comparison.
2. The reasons for the proposal to transfer or dispose of the capital asset – to
enable the establishment in Atlantis Industrial area of a Green Technology
Manufacturing cluster and to enable development on City-owned land in
respect of the manufacture and supply of utility-scale renewable energy to the
national grid;
3. Any expected benefits to the municipality that may result from the transfer or
disposal - substantial economic development up to R3,125 billion and the
creation of up to 2200 jobs;

Nature of Application:
