The Candidate Statement must not exceed 500 words, and will not be edited or corrected. Residence
Life & Housing may post your statement in your residence hall lobby, on Student Central and/or near
the voting booth during the election. You may submit your statement on a separate piece of paper.
You are not required to submit a statement, though you are encouraged to do so.
Some suggested topics to include might be:
a. Qualifications that make you an appealing candidate for the CCC officer position you are
pursuing.
b. If elected, things you would do in your position to address the needs of your fellow
residence hall students.
c. Goals or ideas you have to make residence hall living more enjoyable, etc.
