CALL FOR PROPOSALS COMPASS CURRICULUM COURSE DEVELOPMENT GRANTS DUE DATE: October 15, 2014 The Compass Curriculum is inviting faculty to submit proposals for course development for all areas of the Compass Curriculum. ELIGIBILITY: 1. UCCS faculty, including tenured, tenure-track, instructors (full- and part-time) and lecturers who have been employed at UCCS for at least three semesters are all eligible applicants. 2. Awards will be limited to a maximum of $500 per course in most areas. 3. Awards will be based on merit of the proposal and the curricular needs of the Compass Curriculum. 4. Courses submitted in the areas of Navigate and Sustainability may have priority in funding for course development this fall. However, proposals for ALL AREAS are expected to be funded. 5. Faculty must secure the approval and support of their department or program chair. PROPOSAL PACKETS should include: 1) COVER PAGE (see cover page sheet below). 2) PROPOSAL DESCRIPTION (see proposal description below). Proposal descriptions may not exceed three double-spaced pages (no more than 600 words). 3) ONE PAGE RESUME OR VITA.
