The objective of this seminar & workshop is to explore teaching and learning activities using the framework proposed by Gordon Redding when "teaching India." In 2005, elaborating on Whitley’s "sociology of firm behavior," Gordon Redding proposed an approach for comparing business systems drawing on ‘thick description’ (Geertz – Anthropology) and holistic analysis (Ragin - Sociology).
