The application deadline of March 31 approaches! To see a PDF of the Intern Application and Newsletter click below link: http://www.peninsulaplayers.com/about-us/employment/ Peninsula Players Theatre is a professional resident summer theater company in northern Wisconsin located at a former boys’ camp. Since 1935 the Players have been providing northeastern Wisconsin with professional theater and have produced more than 500 plays from dramas and musicals to modern British farce and new works. Penninsula Players opens the season with A Real Lulu, a world première comedy by Paul Slade Smith the creator of Unnecessary Farce. Fredrick Knott’s Dial M for Murder is sure to thrill while Ken Ludwig’s hilarious comic romp Lend Me a Tenor will make audiences laugh. Fresh from Broadway is the latest hit from the creator of Doubt, John Patrick Shanley’s comedy Outside Mullingar and the Little Sisters from Hoboken take the stage this fall in the musical comedy Nunsense by Dan Goggin. Peninsula Players has 16 acres of cedar-lined shorefront on which we produce, build, rehearse and perform our works in a 621-seat all-weather pavilion. They also house everyone who works for us on this property as well. Penninsula Plays seeks passionate and dedicated theater students who are also “good campers.” In the true sense of camp, everyone works together and plays together to produce professional theater in a serene and nurturing environment. Many members of the artistic company are working professionals, members of Actors’ Equity and United Scenic Artists, in the Chicago area, offering wonderful opportunities for networking with working theater professionals.
