Student Congress General Meeting 7 April 2015 • • Board and Committee o Admissions and Financial Aid: 66% of around 4,000 applicants have been admitted to the school for next year’s freshman class. o Religious Life: Met with Ep Center, and Professor Husbands came to speak about the Emmaus Scholars program, and discussed different religious programs available for students. o Student Standing and Appeals: Went over an account of academic dishonesty. o Dining Services: Would like some input on food over Easter break some students have said that the service was not great but was improved a little bit from fall and mid-winter break. o Academic Affairs Board: Talked about the ways to implement writing instruction and how to assess writing from freshman to senior year. o Campus Life: Discussed ways to ban different pornography sites on the Hope’s wifi.
