*Cyber Safety Talk – Mrs. Freeman, our Freshman Counselor, will speak to students today and
tomorrow about safety on the internet, as well as cyber bullying.
*Animoto Presentations – Students are introducing and sharing their Animoto presentations
with their classes. Each class will vote on their favorite – this winner from each class will receive an XL
Hershey Candy Bar!
*Clash of the Titans – An overall understanding of the role between gods and humans in Greek
Mythology, as we will also study these relationships in “The Odyssey.”
*Hero Essay – Students will write a response to a prompt about heroes this Friday. This IS a
District-wide assessment, but material we have been covering in class. So, students should feel very
comfortable with this. When they are finished, they may write or read for pleasure (bring headphones).
*6th Hour: PreAP: “Book Cube” projects were assigned last week, and are DUE next Wednesday,
November 10. This will be our final project (worth 200 points) for “The Old Man and the Sea.”
