TREE POLICY
COMMENT FORM
The City of Cape Town invites all residents of Cape Town to participate in the review and
finalising of the Tree Policy. In terms of section 17 of the Local Government: Municipal
Structures Act, Act 32 of 2000, the public and interested parties or groups are given the
opportunity to submit comments, recommendations and input on the review and redrafting
of the City of Cape Town’s Tree Policy from 1 April 2014 to 30 April 2014.
Please note that petitions will not be accepted in response to this invitation to comment
as a result of contention around the submission of petitions. Only individual returns on this
prescribed comment form will be considered.
