CITY OF CAPE TOWN DRAFT SPORT AND RECREATION POLICY FRAMEWORK AND PROGRAMMES POLICY The City of Cape Town invites all residents of Cape Town to participate in the City’s draft sport and recreation policy framework and programmes policy. In terms of section 17 of the Local Government Municipal Structures Act, No. 32 of 2000, the public and interested parties or groups are given the opportunity to submit comments, recommendations or input on these documents from 1 February 2015 to 4 March 2015. Please note that as a result of contention around the submission of petitions, petitions will not be accepted in response to this invitation to comment. Only individual representations on this prescribed comment form will be considered.
