The diesel technician must be able to work on a great variety of equipment and their component parts. These include brake systems,
drive trains, electrical and electronic circuits, hydraulic systems, and diesel engines. Diesel power is used in the transportation
industry in light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks and in industrial applications such as heavy equipment, agriculture, marine
propulsion, power generation, and locomotives.

NOTES:
The Associate in Applied Science degree is designed for students who wish to complete a program with a specific career
and technical education objective. Students are required to complete a minimum of thirty (30) credits at Clark College to
meet Academic Residency requirement. Students are required to maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.00 to receive this degree.
