CELT2 is a compact, high performance laser range
finder that is suitable for stand-alone military based
range-finding applications.

Proven Technology
Derived from Thales’ proprietary MELT (Miniature
Eyesafe Laser Transceiver) technology, CELT2
uses Erbium glass laser technology engineered to
meet stringent military and environmental safety
performance standards. CELT2 uses a single-shot,
time of flight measurement principle that is capable
of ranging to static or fast-moving platforms.

The CELT2 is ideally suited for end-users requiring
installations to externally mounted platforms. It
offers a true plug and play compatibility within a
host of military-based environments without any
measured loss in performance.

CELT2 features an extensive BIT facility and use
monitoring system. It can also communicate range,
status and diagnostic data to a host management
system and can operate effectively from a LAV
compatibile MIL-STD-1275B Power Supply.
Applications
CELT2 can be mounted directly onto AFV, LAV, MTB
platforms, as part of Electro-Optic payload fitted to
weapon systems or a host of other land, naval and
air based applications.
