DC Power for Business-Critical Continuity Single Phase Inverter System High Reliability Throughout the Entire Network. Single Phase, max 40 kVA Single Phase Inverter System Emerson Network Power Energy Systems line of inverter systems and modules are designed to ensure reliable operation of AC powered equipment. Wireline/ wireless networks, IP networks and other critical loads require a highly reliable power source throughout the entire network. All subsystems have to support this attribute, including energy conversion devices. Inverter products in the Energy Systems line meet these requirements and are cost-effective and spaceefficient. Availability System integrity and availability are the major concerns throughout the system architecture. Emerson Network Power Energy Systems inverter modules are designed for high reliability, high efficiency and a wide operating temperature range. The democratic system hierarchy ensures reliable function at all times – no master/slave configuration is used. Complete systems are available that are designed to facilitate short installation times, a quick setup and easy expansion. All units are slide-in terminated. System Architecture Due to the system architecture, one cabinet can house inverter modules, static transfer switch, manual bypass switch, controller and output AC distribution for superior flexibility. Bulk DC supply or separated DC supply of the inverters are suitable for any DC power supply plant. Max 6kVA single phase system 24kVA (max 40kVA) single phase system Inverter modules AC output distribution The inverter modules are high-frequency switch mode inverters equipped with DSP signaling. These modules are compact and of low building height, and have forced cooling and slide-in termination. Up to three output AC distribution units can be integrated in a rack. Each distribution unit is capable of supplying a maximum of 250A. The design of the AC output distribution makes installation and expansion easy. The interface is user-friendly with push buttons, LEDs for signaling and LCD display1 for information on the status of the inverter and system. As an option, the AC distribution can be fitted with a common AC breaker alarm circuit. Rack The cabinet is made of powder-coated metal sheets. Static transfer switch, manual by-pass The static transfer switch is always supplied in combination with a manual bypass switch for service purposes. The static transfer switch allows the system to work either online or offline and keeps the transfer time to a minimum, typically 2ms. The interface is userfriendly with push buttons, LEDs for signaling and LCD display2 for information on the status of the system. Controller An optional controller is available when a larger number of functions and remote control are required. The controller features dual LCD displays, keyboard and LEDs for signaling. There are 8 digital inputs and 4 dry contact relay outputs. An optional SNMP TCP/IP interface is available as an additional feature. The rack with 600x600 mm footprint comes in three heights: 1100 mm, 1500 mm and 2130 mm. Optional earthquake reinforcement is available.
