Bless Me, Ultima: Unraveling A Dream Ms Manchester Sonoma Valley High School English 3 CP 11th grade Table of Contents • Situation / Setting: I have two English 3 CP classes that have about 28 students in each class consisting of 11 ELLs. We have access to 2 computer labs. • Issue / Problem: According to California State Standards for 11th grade, students need to understand and demonstrate the use of symbolism in a work of literature. • • Solution: Bless Me, Ultima Project: Unraveling a Dream Results / Outcomes: 1. Back to TOC Pre-Survey Results & Goals • Currently 50% of my CP English III students have used iMovie or Movie Maker. By the end of March 90% of my students can use iMovie, or Moviemaker proficiently as measured by the pre and post class survey and the development of multi media projects. • Currently 74% of my CP English 3 students know how to use a digital camera and download files. By the end of May 90% of my students will know how to use a digital camera by producing an autobiographical multi-media project.
