Research interns will assist ISS' corporate governance analysts in the authoring and preparation of proxy analyses of the annual general meetings of publicly traded companies. Specific tasks include drafting vote recommendations, collecting data, and contacting corporate issuers with information enquiries. Interns will in the first instance be assigned to individual regional research teams based on language skills and other qualifications. DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Fluency (both spoken and written) in English AND German / French / Dutch / Italian / Turkish / Portuguese / Polish / Russian / Croatian / Serbian / Swedish / Norwegian / Danish / Finnish A bachelor degree in law, finance, and/or economics, or in the process of obtaining such a degree A good eye for detail, strong analytical ability, numeracy, strong oral and written communication skills, a basic understanding of capital markets, the ability to work independently while cooperating with other team members This internship is remunerated (€ 1000 monthly + lunch vouchers + bonus if appropriate), will start in January/February 2014, and the assignments run for 3 to 6 months.
