POSITION OVERVIEW:
ISS' Brussels office is seeking a number of research interns for the winter/spring of 2014. Research
interns will assist ISS' corporate governance analysts in the authoring and preparation of proxy analyses
of the annual general meetings of publicly traded companies. Specific tasks include drafting vote
recommendations, collecting data, and contacting corporate issuers with information enquiries. Interns
will in the first instance be assigned to individual regional research teams based on language skills and
other qualifications.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:




Fluency (both spoken and written) in English AND Italian
Any other European language would be an advantage
A bachelor degree in law, finance, and/or economics, or in the process of obtaining such a
degree
A good eye for detail, strong analytical ability, numeracy, strong oral and written
communication skills, a basic understanding of capital markets, the ability to work
independently while cooperating with other team members
This internship is remunerated (€ 1000 monthly + lunch vouchers + bonus if appropriate), will start at
the beginning of February 2014, and the assignments run for 3 months. Applicants should email a cover
