New York State has its own minimum wage law which is applicable to all private
sector entities with employees in NYS. The NYS minimum wage is currently at the same rate as the
Federal minimum wage. This has not always been the case and it could change again in the future.

exemptions. In NYS Outside Salespeople are not included within the definition of “employees” to whom the
