Acrostic Project for 10th Grade World History
Create an acrostic that explains the many sources of our democratic tradition. Use ROOTS OF DEMOCRACY as your stem.
Each line MUST be a complete sentence, use a key vocabulary term and have the term underlined.
Create a poster (8.5 x 11”) that explains the many sources of our democratic tradition in an acrostic poem. The poster must
have a visual depiction be in color & MUST be in complete sentence that uses a vocabulary term and have the term
underlined.
Definition: Acrostic
a series of lines or verses in which the first, last, or other particular letters when taken in order spell out a word, phrase,
etc. OR a number of lines of writing, such as a poem, certain letters of which form a word, proverb, etc.
