 TOURNAMENT FEES: $60 tournament fee per athlete (inclusive of participant and lunch
fee). Please remit in USD, USD check (American International School Chennai)

 T-SHIRT DETAILS: Cost and design to be sent no later than September 19th with order
form. Schools may pre order or buy at the tournament. Limited quantity will be
on site.
 TEAM ROSTER & FLIGHT INFORMATION: Please have your completed team roster form and
flight information in to me no later than September 23rd. The roster form is
attached.

 GUEST SCHOOL COMMITMENT: Schools should give their commitment by September 1st.
Please indicate the approximate number of athletes you will be bringing.
 TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE IS ATTACHED – OPTION 1 WAS SELECTED BY A NARROW MAJORITY.
 TOURNAMENT VENUE: AISC Pool. Pictures will be posted on the wiki before the
tournament.
 TOURNAMENT TIMINGS: The tournament begins on Friday 7th October at 8:30 AM. The
event concludes at approx. 9:00 PM on Sunday 5th. Please plan to arrive on
Thursday 2nd December before 4:00 PM. Departures should take place after
10.00 PM on Sunday or Monday morning. Late or early arrivals may result in
hotel or school housing at visiting schools expense.
 PRE TOURNAMENT COACHES MEETING: This will take place on Thursday 5:30 PM.
 VISA REQUIREMENTS: A letter was already sent to the schools requiring visas. If you
require any further documentation please advise.
 SAISA CODE OF CONDUCT: Be sure to have your athletes sign the SAISA Code of
Conduct, it will be followed throughout the tournament. Please discuss the
consequence of SAISA curfew violations and the Code of Conduct with your
athletes prior to arriving. As per planning meeting ensure that your athletes
know the consequences of infractions.
 MONEY EXCHANGE: You may change money at the airport or at the school on Thursday
through Sunday morning. US$ only.
 HOUSING: AISC has a good reputation as hosts. Your athletes will be housed with
school students, mostly other athletes. The coaches will be housed by school
faculty. I have attached a list of hotels for parents.
 OFFICIALS: We will be using officials from the Sport Development Authority of Tamil
Nadu (SDAT). An official will attend our initial coaches meeting for any
questions or clarifications.
 TRANSPORTATION: Will be provided for all athletes and coaches to all tournament
activities as per SAISA rules. Remind athletes that there is no use of rickshaws /
taxi while in Chennai. Few of our students live more than 45 minutes away from
the school.
 ATHLETE FOOD: Lunches will be included in SAISA participant fee of $60.00. Choice of
veg non-veg options with sign up form need to be completed. Menu selection
will be available by September 29th.
 COACHES FOOD: We will have hospitality set up for coaches throughout the
tournament.
 STUDENT EVENING ACTIVITIES: 6th study night, 7th Entertainment Evening, 8th dinner and
home, 9th Awards Banquet. More details about the evening entertainment will
follow.
