This should be included in your vocabulary or Word of the Day section of your notebook.
Each Monday/Tuesday you will be given 15 roots and/or suffixes. You will be responsible for
the following:

Create an index card for each word. On the front, write the root or suffix.
On the back, write two examples of words with definitions that use the root/suffix.
Write the definition of the root/suffix.
Draw a picture of the root/suffix meaning.
These will be your study cards.
In class, we will do different activities with the cards and your work to learn the roots and
suffixes. It is up to you to study these on your own as well.
You are welcome to work ahead.
