 Suneel had a staff meeting today with the Vandoo
o The Vandoo staff is putting out a “Guide to Vanier”
 Undecided major awareness video: Talk about being an undecided major
5.0 New Business:
5.01 Cross Council
 Cross council is next Thursday: We’re paired up with similar positions from other
councils
 Dan is uploading the itinerary to council group
 Founder assembly hall @ 5:30pm
5.02 Retreat
 Going in first semester on a weekend
 Waiting for the other positions to be filled
5.03 Frosh
 Frosh kits
o The counts were done on all frosh kits and swag
o We are missing 5 frosh shirts; being credited for those
o We have a few extra of each item for the frosh kits
o Dimple asked if she can give her stuff for dons
 We’re going to do a run through day of the finances for frosh week
 The week has been approved
 We lost the busses for Wasaga beach and need to find it; SCLD is helping us
find busses
 Need to figure out the downtown amazing race
 Mail outs are being done through the masters office (Have it prepared by
Tuesday)
 108 bosses as of now; we can hire at least 12 more
 Raffle for the week: raffle tickets to froshies/bosses for participation; prize at the
end of the week
o Recognition for bosses
 E-chug needs to be done by council members before cross council
 We need about 70 bosses to go to the academic orientation
 Dan, Yoseph, Logan, and Suneel are working on downtown amazing race; have
it prepared by next meeting
5.04 Reports
 Kendra will give chances for people to send in their reports; if you don’t send it
before the minutes are published then $1 will be deducted from that person’s
honorarium for every report missed
